The Practice has a wide portfolio of work including new build and refurbishment, using traditional and design build contracts, with wide experience in all sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Residential.
We are pleased to announce that we have received a Grand Design Award in the Tendring District Design Awards 2011 and finished joint first place for our project for DONG Energy, a Danish energy company at Brightlingsea which includes offices and a warehouse to service the Gunfleet Sands Offshore Windfarm off Clacton-on-Sea. This project has now led to us being appointed as Architects for another larger DONG Energy Project in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria and construction work commenced December 2010 with completion due in the summer of 2011. We are also currently working on another project for DONG Energy - West of Duddon Sands also situated in Barrow in Furness.
Our other work currently includes refurbishment of the Sister Building at Colchester Sixth Form College, a new Highly Sterile Decontaminations Unit at Colchester General Hospital, replacing a run down building and replacing it with an office block for eight offices on the outskirts of Colchester, extensions and refurbishment of schools for the Diocese of Brentwood covering the East London Boroughs and Essex.
We are also pleased to announce that we won first prize in the Sandcastle Competition held in Frinton.
