Martin Wilesmith

Martin Wilesmith BSc Hons B Arch Hons RIBA, joined the Practice in 1978 and qualified as an architect in1980, having studied at the Welsh School of Architecture. Martin was made a Partner in 1988 and has extensive experience in the Education and Residential sectors and oversees major projects for the Diocese of Brentwood.

Martin enjoys golf, tennis, swimming, and takes a special interest in drawing and painting, having recently attended art classes with his daughter.  His wife is a Primary School Teacher and his daughter is following in her mother's footsteps having recently been appointed an Arts teacher in one of the local schools. Martin's son is studying for his Masters Degree at University College London.

Bob Ward

Bob Ward BA Hons B Arch Hons RIBA has been with the Practice since 1976 and was made a Partner in 1988. Bob qualified as an architect in 1981 having studied at Newcastle University. He has a particular interest in developing sustainable design solutions and has particular experience in Commercial, Healthcare and Educational sectors.

Bob is very keen on environmental and wildlife issues, having helped to manage Essex Wildlife's Trusts Alexander reserve with his wife for ten years, and also participating in local Dormice surveys between April and November as part of a nationwide programme.

Additionally, in contrast, he also participates in various motorsports including Rallycross, Autocross and Sprint events across the country, with varying degrees of success!

Bob's eldest son has moved to Australia with his wife and baby son and his younger son lives in London and is now working in the designing world.
